In the last few weeks we have been to the café stairs more often. Great location, great coffee and breakfast. We have now become regular guests.

Incredibly long waiting time even worse is the INCREDIBLY RUDE AND SLIGHTLY AGGRESSIVE service (LADY WITH LONG BLACK HAIR) LOVES TO FLIRT WITH GUESTS INSTEAD OF SERVING VERY, VERY BAD as it is actually a cool place to "have a drink".

The location and the view is beautiful! You can get one of the best coffee here. No matter what time you visit this place it's always beautiful, if you like whiskey then this is the best place to enjoy it.

Were there once a week. Have a quick drink. We had ordered a spritzer and a shake. Spritzer was non-sparkling. And shake tasted good but was just like cocoa. Disappointed... The only thing that was nice was the view. But you can also have them a few meters away in the cafe next door. Where the drinks also taste better. Employee was friendly.

Yesterday we wanted to buy an ice cream there, the saleswoman was not wearing a mask and took the waffle with her bare hands, after I spoke to you, she said that it is always made there and that she will NOT use a napkin for it. I was supposed to be discussing for a long time that it couldn't be done that way, and only when I threatened to report that she wrapped a napkin around the waffle. Incredible that such people are even allowed to work in the restaurant business!

Place is great to take a breather if you still want to watch people strolling! Mövenpick ice cream delicious. The latte was too weak for me but good. I waited a little longer for service because the way from the cafe to the seat is relatively long. Accordingly it was with payment I got up to pay. But go here often

Very nice cafe Friendly staff what was there Hot white chocolate would not be served with milk like elsewhere where it is poured with water, a delicious big coffee. We also had something to eat that was very tasty and as far as the prices were concerned, they were top and the quality was chosen accordingly, also tipped the staff and asked if everything was okay, which is not everywhere. A great time that we could spend in the middle of the city. We also paid attention to current measures, so everything is okay and good for us

The portion of salmon in breakfast Oslo was very generous, but the waitresses didn't seem to have any prudence or understanding of priorities. For an extra piece of butter we waited for the bill for almost 20 minutes while they paced up and down without even looking at us. For a frustration-free coffee look elsewhere ...

Tapas were of good quality, but very difficult without a separate plate to eat with the bread. Service not motivated, not friendly either. Location good, ambience nice. Contact lists are not kept.

Delicious breakfast until 4 p.m. Very nice and courteous service. Centrally located, what more could you want!

Idea good, but topic missing. I chose a vegetarian club sandwich today. I was served properly, there wasn't much going on, and the price was reasonable considering the location. The ingredients were good in taste and quality. If the sandwich had been alone, I would have needed a little more salt, but it went very well with the chips. My main criticism is the presentation, the sandwich was arranged in an appealing way, but it was very cumbersome to eat. If you want to eat such a dish with cutlery, you should do this, but for my understanding you have to be able to eat sandwiches by hand. The third slice of bread, which is common in the club sandwich, has been left out entirely.

One of my favorite places in the city. This cafe offers good, fresh snacks and food, and a wide range of drinks from hot to cold. Great also for breakfast or brunch.

Good service. Great location. Right in front of the Scholtsplatz palace. Food is average.

The espresso was good. However, the waitress, the ambience and the cappuccino were unbearable. Also, that the prices on the boards are covered by lift lines (photo) breakdown - you can tell that they are too high when you pay.

Rather unfriendly place, but with a decent view. We were sitting outside and had just finished our drinks, thinking of ordering something else, when we were asked to pay and so to say thrown out. The waitress was all but friendly.

The staff was very unfriendly and it wasn't just one person but anyone we had to deal with was. and the toilets are nasty. I won't be going there again

The only plus here is the nice looking place and its location. Although delicious, everything's extremely overpriced! The waiters are not friendly and they only accept cards if it's over 15€

Waiter that served us seemed a bit rude, he may have been having an off day.

Nothing special. Cake is bad. Slightly overpriced for the experience. Not great comfort. Bathroom is insufficient.

We had the vegetarian breakfast. Was delicious. Because it was good weather, it was well visited. ;-) The payment unfortunately took a while, because we had to wait until "our" waiter was available.
